Who we are

Auto Keys Hull is a mobile auto locksmith serving Hull and East Yorkshire. For anything about your personal information, contact us on 07415 793306 or at autokeyshull@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you use our quote form, call, WhatsApp or email us, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, location or postcode, vehicle registration, make and model, and any details you choose to share about the job.

Before making a key, we may also ask to see proof that you own the vehicle, such as your V5C logbook and photo ID. This is to prevent vehicle theft.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote
• To attend your vehicle and complete the job
• To take payment and keep business and tax records
• To check vehicle ownership before cutting or programming keys

Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing that contract, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interest in preventing vehicle crime.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. It is only handled by services we use to run the business: our website host (for sending form emails), Google (email), WhatsApp (if you message us) and Square (card payments). We may share information with the police if required by law.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries that don't go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Job and payment records are kept for 6 years for tax purposes.
